St Pats FC pledge their support to the IMNDA! Thursday, 17th May 2012
Meeting the Healthcare Needs of People with Disabilities Tuesday, 3rd April 2012
Neurological Alliance of Ireland Lobby Day Thursday, 1st March 2012Family and friends of Nayana Mulligan handed over a cheque valued at €11,000 to Marie Reavey Regional Development Officer Irish Motor Neurone Disease Assocation at a recent presentation following a very successful charity ‘Knight’ with a difference which took place on Friday 23rd of September in the beautiful Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan.
The event was initially the brain child of Nayana Mulligan who was living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) but who sadly passed away on 12th August just 5 weeks before the event. Despite her passing Nayana’s family and friends decided that they would honour her by continuing with the night as they felt this is what she would have wanted.
The event was a huge success with over 200 attendees on the night. Comedy hypnotist Adrian Knight was absolutely amazing working his magic on the audience, and offering up his villa in Spain for auction raising €1,800 for IMNDA. The night went onto the early hours with disco & craic! It was very much a fun night which is what Nayana was all about.
