Dechen Shying Spiritual Care Centre

As a respite centre within the palliative care services of Ireland, Dechen Shying Spiritual Care Centre offers specialised care for those living with illness or facing death and to their families and carers. They provide a welcoming atmosphere of acceptance and genuine communication where people of all walks of life and religious orientations can come.
They specialise in supporting people who are going through difficulty, either around their illness or disability, or in relation to a change in life circumstance, spiritual concerns or lack of meaning, and grief and bereavement.

Services offered include:
Care planning for individual and family needs
A peaceful, natural environment
Nursing and personal care
Listening companionship
Guided meditation and spiritual support
Massage, therapeutic bath and comfort care

Accommodation:
All rooms are en-suite with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Four principal guest rooms each have full disability access and are suitable for single or double use. Each has a large conservatory.
Three additional bedrooms are suitable for guests or their family and friends.
Large family living space with kitchen and dining area
Cosy sitting room with fireplace.
Circular meditation room with floor to ceiling windows
