To arrange home care assistance for a patient, please contact the association. The association does not recommend any specific carers or care agencies but please find below details of agencies some of our client group have previously used. The Irish Hospice Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the hospice philosophy and supports the development of hospice/palliative care.
The Irish Hospice Foundation offers assistance for night nursing. The Irish Hospice Foundation provides funding for up to 14 nights' nursing for patients who are in the terminal phase of illness, are being cared for at home, and are receiving palliative home-care. Referrals must come from a specialist palliative care nurse or consultant - not from a G.P, public health nurse or family member. For more information on the assistance they offer click here.
