Meeting the Healthcare Needs of People with Disabilities Tuesday, 3rd April 2012
Neurological Alliance of Ireland Lobby Day Thursday, 1st March 2012Marilyn Monroe would have felt at home at the glitzy Hollywood glam Midlands Motor Neurone Ball. James Bond doubles, Audrey Hepburn lookalikes and Scarlet O’Hara wannabes flooded the Annebrook House Hotel on the 21st of May. Organisers Jennifer Walsh and Louise Moore thought of everything – there was a bubbly drinks reception, the ballroom was decorated with black and white balloons, there were even individual goody-bags for all the ladies and glamorous Irish icon, Glenroe’s Mary McEvoy even made an appearance. Following an exquisite four course meal the band kicked off as did the night and guests danced until dawn. Many thanks to Jennifer and Louise and all those who pitched in to make the evening a reality, we deeply appreciate it.
