MND Support Group

A support group has been formed by the family members of some people with MND. The support group is aimed at people who have been diagnosed with MND, their family members, friends and/or carers. The group also extends to family members, friends and/or carers who in the past have cared for someone with MND.

The group intends to discuss experiences of living with, coping with, and managing the symptoms of MND. It is hoped that the people attending the support group will find support, strength and practical advice through discussion and shared experiences.

The support group is independent of the IMNDA, however the Association has made itself available to assist the group with setting up their initial meetings.

The support group meets for one hour once a month. Refreshments are served at the end of each meeting. You are invited to attend these meetings and to bring with you family members, friends and/or carers as you feel appropriate.

Date: Last Thursday of each month

Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm
