Motor Neurone Disease is a challenge for all – patients and families, certainly, but also for professionals – and there are seldom easy
answers.
This one day conference gives us the chance to share knowledge, skills and dilemmas. It reflects collaboration between St Christopher’s Hospice and the MND Care and Research Centre at King’s College Hospital, London.

Topics will include:-
• a critical overview of the latest research and clinical trials
• management of complex symptoms and challenging cases
• artificial hydration and nutrition at end of life
• compassion fatigue in professionals caring for patients with MND
• legal issues/mental capacity
• supporting the patient with MND: meeting in unexpected ways
