Drink Tea for MND!
Please help me reach my fundraising target in support of people living with Motor Neurone Disease.
There are more than 450 people affected by this cruel and debilitating disease all across Ireland. The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation in this country supporting these families and it’s a charity that’s very close to my heart, having lost my lovely Dad, Richard, to Motor Neuron Disease in November 2023.
Dad became ill in early 2021 and was eventually diagnosed with MND in the spring of 2022. From the moment he received his diagnosis, the IMNDA were a fantastic support. They funded specialised equipment, linked him up with specialised services such as physios, speech and language therapists etc, they funded nusring services such as a night nurse and a MND nurse aswell as vital voice banking technology. They were only ever a phonecall away and always so supportive and understanding.
