New Travel Grant announced to Help Families with the expense of attending Medical Appointments

We are so thankful to Charlie and Claire who have dedicated all their time and energy to making their “Climb with Charlie” so successful.  It is their wish that monies raised for IMNDA go towards a project that makes a difference to the lives of those who live with this disease.

The IMNDA’s Mission is to support people living with motor neurone disease (MND), their families and carers through advocacy, home and professional support. We keep clients at the heart of everything we do that we understand the impact of our work. After our survey with clients, family and carers, on their needs, we are thrilled to announce that we have established a Travel grant to assist with some of the expenses of traveling to medical appointments. This is a one-off grant, max. €150

“I am so happy that part of the funds from Climb with Charlie are used for this purpose. Motor Neurone is a dreadful disease for people living with and indeed for their carers as well. I always wanted the funds raised from Climb with Charlie to directly benefit those who are suffering from this terminal illness and also those who are caring for them.   So well done, I love this initiative I know what people with MND are going through and those who are caring for us,” said Charlie Bird.
