Homecare Grants

The IMNDA provides financial assistance towards home care hours for people living with MND.

This home care grant is awarded once one our nurses has completed a needs assessment. In 
2024 the IMNDA spent €389,099 which covered 13,703 hours of care. On average, €28.50 will pay for one hour of home care. 

Essential hours needed for both our clients and their primary carer. We receive very little state or HSE funding towards this service, the majority is funded through community fundraising and campaigns like this.
